Alrighty! Concept work!
These are new breed weapons used by The Legions. As a note, these are used by both Loyalist and Rebel legions.
1) L-27 "Horatio" MaSAR: Named after the first Emperor, Horatio Scarab, the L-27 is the replacement for the venerable L-22 "Peacemaker" MaSAR. MaSAR stands for Metal Storm Assault Rifle. The 'a' is there for pronunciation reasons. The L-27 fires 7.5mm rounds and carries about 800 of 'em. I know, I know, 'how is this possible?' Well, 1) the cartridges use a hybrid of a magic/gunpowder charge, so the bullets, including the brass casing, are easily much smaller than a typical round. This also cuts back dramatically on weight. and 2) the weapon has an enchantment on it making it weight around eight pounds when fully loaded.
Like it's predecsor, the L-27 has a few types of attachments for it: From the left are shown the mana-pod, an attachment which fires blasts of magical energy, the 12-gauge shotgun attachment and finally the beloved 45mm grenade launcher.
2) L-26 CAW: CAW stands for chemical assault weapon. This is The Empire's answer to close-quarters fighting. It can be fitted with three types of munition, making it deadly for any who are in tight corridors.
The first ammunition is standard napalm. This makes the CAW a very effective flamethrower.
The second is a bio-toxin, designed to break down a target's cells. This toxin is HIGHLY corrosive and dangerous, so it is limited in use. To witness the effects of the toxin is to witness a nightmare of a death. Also due to its potency, should the tanks be damaged, even slightly, another chemical is introduced to the toxin, which is magical in nature, making the mixture harmless.
The final one is an anti-magic mist. This is perfect for dealing with large crowds, especially if there's a sorcerer in them. A harmless blue cloud of mist is released from the weapon's nozzle, that is until it is ignited by magical energies. A gallon of this mist, when mixed with magic is as powerful as most air-fuel explosives.
3) EML-27 Microdriver: This is probably the most impressive of Breed weapons technology nowadays. It is a miniaturized version of Minotaur Railguns. It fires 20mm bolts at around mach three! The perfect anti-tank weapon for a sniper! It utilizes experimental dampeners and enchantments in the stock and barrel, to keep it from tearin' someone's arm off!
The microdriver also utilizes a special type of ammunition called a mana-charge. This makes the rail-rifle fire concentrated beams of magical energy, capable of blowing a 20mm hole clean through all but the thickest materials.
4) L-26 "Peacekeeper" PDW: PDW means personal defensive weapon. The Peacekeeper is the smaller relative of the Peacemaker and was approved for use in 2426, but hasn't seen active service until recently. It is essentially a smaller, lighter caliber version of the L-22. Utilizes 9mm rounds instead of the 5.7mm of the Peacemaker.
5) EML-27 MAR: MAR stands for Magic Assault Rifle. It is the first of its kind, using reverse-engineered technology and majiks from captured necroplic magic guns. The result is a magic rifle with a much higher rate of fire and better energy conservation. The front pod contains a crystal which is the ammunition. The weapon is still in its prototype stages as it utilizes anti-magic to give the weapon an almost unheard of stopping power for a gun its size. Seteshans are the only ones who can really use them safely, as too many shots will cause anti-magic radiation to build up in the pod, which will cause an explosion.
6) L-27 AMBR: AMBR is Acoustomantic (or Acoustic/Magic) Beam Rifle. This utilizes a new form of magic known as acoustomancy, or sound magic. It fires a concentrated beam of sound and magic, which you can sweep back and forth like a garden hose!
It is currently being used as the perfect anti-undead weapon. Because of acoustomancy's nature, it can be blended with other forms of magic, including anti-magic. This gives the beam incredible power. Say you fire it at a ghoul. The anti-magic makes the thing explode, while making sure it can never be raised until the anti-magic radiation fades enough (which can be a while as it's got quite the half-life). The sonic beam shatters bones into thousands of pieces, and makes some of the organs burst! In other words, one helluva mess...
7: L-27 Flak Gun "Crowd Pleaser": The Crowd Pleaser is definitely a crowd pleaser, as it is pretty much a Breed version of a combat shotgun! However, this incarnation is FULLY AUTOMATIC! It fires magically-enchanted shards of flak, superheated to cause incredible pain. A single of these shards often cauterizes the wound, while inflicting mind-numbing pain. At close range, this incarnation of the flak gun can turn a body into several bloody chunks of steaming gore in a single shot!
