Okay, last of the participatory prizes, this is Alysdir, the second of

He also shows up in Tyrant's Legacy as a main character and is a sniper!
How he'll get worked in, provided he wins the contest, is that of Echo's confidant. Someone she can trust with anything, despite an incredibly rocky start! He softens enough though and they become good friends.
